This has been our favorite restaurant we've eaten at on the Island! Our service was so friendly and attentive! The menu selection was awesome! Atmosphere was fun, great air conditioning, lots of space, beautiful decks, too. For appetizers we had oysters on the shell- absolutely delicious; friend deviled eggs- delicious; blue crap spinach dip with chips- delicious; fried green tomatoes- delicious! Grilled fish tacos were filled with HUGE portions of fish, and delicious. Their portions of all the food were SO big! Our group so 7 was so pleased and it was a great experience!
This place won me over. Just the fact that they have a service elevator for everyone is impressive . They accept your pet, which is the most important thing to me. They treated me really well, and so did my dog. The waitress was super cool. They bring your pet water with ice. Spectacular service. The drinks and food are delicious. Come here!!! Don't go to El Pirata!!!
This was the first restaurant we chose to eat at on this vacation at Dauphin Island. There were only two other tables that were set when we arrived My husband wanted a Michelob ultra and after asking twice I finally went to the bar and got him one. The view is excellent. There is no bad place to sit in the restaurant. The view is excellent. There is no bad place to sit in the restaurant. It is upstairs but it offers an accessible elevator which was good for my husband who has low vision.
Good and drinks were all good. The food took quite a while to prepare, but then again we were in a group of 8. Analese is an excellent server and has a fun and friendly personality.
Aug 2025 - The place has gone downhill, the fried crawfish tails were just ok this time, the grilled chicken wasn’t good and the green beans were terrible. And, the service was very, very slow. Neither the food nor the service justify the prices anymore. May 2024 - Fried crawfish tails entree was very good. Mahi was tasty. Chicken strips were also good. Peanut butter pie was excellent.
Thai chili shrimp was very good. Lots of shrimp. Very fresh. The seafood bisque was very tasty. Lots of seafood bits and corn in that. The broth could be a little thicker for my liking but still very good.
We love Islanders! We’ve been there a few times now and it’s good every time. The atmosphere is really cool, with tv’s and a good mix between bar style and restaurant. The outdoor patio is really nice and fun. We went over Thanksgiving week and sat at the bar to watch football. There was plenty of drink options and all were good, our group got high noons, blood orange martini, and whiskey which were good pours and fair priced. Our food was delicious! We all got the redfish special and it was amazing. Sides were good as well. Really enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back!
Enjoyed the scallops and tuna dip, as well as the relaxed lunchtime atmosphere. Great service, was even offered a water to go (but unfortunately I left it there because it tasted funny). So, I returned for dinner a few days later. The portion size for the pasta was huge. Beware the “upsell” with the “Did you want the bread with that?” because the bread doesn’t actually come with it, it’s an extra charge. That kind of thing just makes a customer feel less trusting.
